Job Description
Key experiences should include implementations of complex enterprise-level virtualized infrastructure and Azure cloud solution support in large corporate environments across various industries, we are looking for candidates\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2 success in implementing, and supporting day to day activities and the managing virtualized VMware and Azure cloud infrastructure solutions. To thrive in this role, you will need a positive approach to customer focus and service improvement, accountability for delivering your work and working collaboratively with your colleagues and fellow teammates to develop and manage relationships across IT and within the business. As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist , you will have proven technical expertise and business understanding in a complex hybrid infrastructure environment based on systems hosted internally and externally, including PaaS and SaaS and Azure working within an ITIL Framework. To be considered for this role you will have experience in the following:
- VMware infrastructure support.
- Azure Cloud Solutions.
- Network protocols including the configuration of network Routers and Switches, LAN/WAN, wireless access points, Network and Systems Security.
- Windows Workstation operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2012-2019 Servers, Office 365 and o365 apps.
- Understand DevOps concepts throughout the software development lifecycle.
- You can visualize a DevOps process as plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate, monitor and - through feedback \xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x80\x9c plan.
- Managing customer relationships and resolving all VMWare, Microsoft (Windows), Dell EMC storage, networking, Servers, and connectivity technical support issues
- Working with key customers and stakeholders.
- Deploy and manage Azure compute resources
- Configure and manage virtual networking
- Implement and manage Azure storage
- Manage Azure subscriptions and governance
- Manage role-based access control (RBAC)
- Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) objects
- Integrate an on-premises network with an Azure virtual network
- Lead efforts to help develop technical standards to support and operate technologies within the current or future Microsoft Azure system platform.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining relevant disaster recovery plans
- Collect and review system data for capacity and planning purposes.
- Oversea the delegation of tasks and right distribution of load among all systems manager
- Conduct Annual performance review and appraisal for all system managers
- Managing and maintaining the following infrastructure:
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues while following downtime procedures
- Provide visibility on application health by defining dashboards, metric/log aggregation mechanisms
- Document the standards and procedures
- Provide technical mentoring to other engineering members to build a high performing and inclusive team of talented individuals that learns and grows together.
- Work in fast paced agile team and make/influence decisions that swiftly drive open technical topics to a closure.
- Proven Track record of working with VMWare/Hyper-V/Azure Cloud products and tools.
- Cloud solid knowledge (any provider: Azure, AWS..etc)

- ITIL Foundation
- Change Management experience
- AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification
- VMware Certified Professional \xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x80\x9c Datacenter 2019 or higher
- Overall experience of six (6) years of as Infrastructure specialist using VMware virtualization and at least two (2) years\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2 experiences with large scale infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Have experience in communicating and presenting complex information to stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.
- Should have experience on Agile development methodology.
- Hands on experience on vulnerability management solutions.
- Hands on experience with supporting Linux OS.
- Knowledge of infrastructure solutions, especially in relation to VMware and Microsoft solution stacks.
- Knowledge of operation management, systems security, testing, databases, and mobility considerations.
- Azure DR, backup, public cloud networking, storage, Automation Accounts, Runbooks, Webhooks, Azure Monitor, Alert Management, Update management, log Analytics and Azure Operations Management Suite (OMS)
- Experience in interfacing with Azure monitoring and Log Analytics
- Experience of scripting with AZ CLI, Azure PowerShell, ARM Templates and Bash
- Hands-on Experience in Azure ISO security standards
- Experience building and troubleshooting Azure Network high throughputs and services
- Demonstrates effective decision making, aligned to local and national plans, to satisfy a range of stakeholder needs and overcoming potential barriers, including deadlines and incompleteness of information.
- Demonstrates an ability to analyze and prioritize situations from an operational perspective and their impact on business operations.
- Selects, analyses, and presents information and effectively communicates results.
- Identifies new processes and simplifies practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Demonstrates a commitment to change, implementing and leading change projects within the team, where relevant.
- Develops and maintains strong, long-term relationships with clients ensuring client needs are anticipated, expectations are managed, and feedback is sought. Takes action to break down \xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xcb\x9csilo barriers\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2, working across disciplines and functions.
