Role Summary
The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting on assets using the GRP Assets Track module and integrated systems. The role ensures full compliance with asset lifecycle policies, inventory procedures, and risk management requirements while supporting accurate data and operational transparency.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and manage asset-related functions within the Government Resource Planning (GRP) system
Work with SPAN Assets Tracking System integrated with GRP
Prepare, review, and analyze periodic asset movement and inventory reports
Ensure accurate tracking of assets across their full lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal
Monitor expired assets and apply approved valuation and disposal mechanisms
Manage asset maintenance activities through the GRP system
Coordinate with technical support teams responsible for Assets Track systems
Support periodic and annual inventory counts, reconciliation, and result analysis
Ensure compliance with asset-related policies, controls, and risk management requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to asset management activities
Candidate Requirements
Minimum two years of hands-on experience using GRP asset-related modules
Strong familiarity with Government Resource Planning (GRP) Assets Track system
Experience working with integrated asset tracking platforms such as SPAN
Good understanding of asset lifecycle management and maintenance processes
Knowledge of expired asset tracking, valuation, and reporting procedures
Experience preparing periodic and annual asset reports and inventory results
Ability to coordinate effectively with technical and support teams
Awareness of asset-related risk management and compliance requirements
