Our Client
is looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to join their team
Your Responsibilities
- With extensive experience of agile, the project manager would be required to manage the day-to-day delivery in a complex matrix environment whilst coordinating with various stakeholders, external suppliers, contractors, and internal departments, as required.
- Ensuring strong governance and methodology controls are followed as part of the PMO framework.
- Conduct project planning for assigned work streams following the Agile methodology
- Work closely with the IT Programme Manager and other business and operations leaders, to define the product and provide updates on the program.
- To be hands-on in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.
- Responsible for making project decisions, achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.
- Manage program and project level statuses including communication and providing transparency to the exec team and business partners.
- Ensure that projects are well planned and delivered within scope and on time and budget.
- Manage cross team dependencies help identify and remove impediments and escalate to leadership when necessary.
- Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies. Monitor the performance of project team, providing and documenting performance feedback.
- Facilitate Release Planning; Sprint Planning; Daily Stand-Ups Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and then help provide quick resolution in order to keep teams highly productive.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Projects
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and understanding who does what and by when
- Experience working on various reporting
- Comes with strong knowledge of both Agile project management principles and processes as well as web development and design process
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Works in an agile mind-set, experienced in working with multiple teams and various personality types
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and understanding who does what and by when
- Ability to drive agile adoption including work and manage scrum environments with a DevOps approach for continuous development and continuous integration.
- Team management capability will be required
- Aviation experience preferred
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prince2 / PMP certification
