Job Summary:
To perform a technical role in the department design office producing accurate & timely roofing/cladding related shop/fabrication drawings for client, consultant and manufacture.
To assist in an error free design process within the Building Envelope department.
Key Responsibilities:

• Execute work according to the target design and fabrication schedule as agreed with the Sr. Project Coordinator.
• Interface with sub-contractors and manufacturers to ensure compliance with specified quality, work sequence, and fabrication schedule.
• Initiate production BOQs based on approved shop drawings.
• Issue material and equipment requisitions as needed, follow up on deliveries, and control the storage of work-in-progress and finished goods. Study fabrication drawings and bill of materials for projects.
• Plan daily activities to meet project deadlines.
• Engage in continuous self-learning of roofing and cladding products, accessories, and ancillary items.
• Responsible for producing accurate roofing/cladding shop drawings using AutoCAD in 2D and/or 3D formats (Revit).
• Coordinate directly with project installation teams concerning produced shop drawings and delivered materials to ensure compliant installation.
• Optimize material usage to reduce or eliminate waste during the material BOQ process.
• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, material/logistics department, and engineering teams.
• Participate in project meetings with the projects department to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or other problems that may arise in daily activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Engineering Degree - (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Structural).
Minimum of 5 years in the roofing & cladding industry (design).
