Accounts Receivable Accountant
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-driven and experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage our incoming revenue streams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and reliable professional with a strong background in collections, reconciliation, and client relations. Your primary goal will be to ensure our company's receivables are collected efficiently and that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End AR Management: Oversee the entire accounts receivable cycle, from invoicing to cash application.
• Collections: Proactively manage and collect outstanding debts from clients through phone calls, emails, and formal communication. Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce aging of receivables.
• Client Account Reconciliation: Perform regular and detailed reconciliations of client accounts, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• VAT Compliance: Ensure all invoices are VAT-compliant according to UAE regulations. Assist with VAT reporting and filing as required.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for client billing and payment inquiries, building and maintaining strong, professional relationships.
• ERP System Utilization: Utilize our ERP system to accurately process invoices, payments, and adjustments, and to generate aging and other financial reports.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports, including an aged debtors analysis and collection forecasts for management review.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify and recommend improvements to the AR process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Language: Arabic Speaker - Mandatory. (Required for effective client communication in the region).
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Industry Background: Experience within the Facilities Management, Construction, or a related service-based industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong expertise in collections, account reconciliation, and UAE VAT compliance.
• Proficient in using major ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
• Personal Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships professionally.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
