Job Description

We are currently seeking an accountant to join the team of our esteemed partner company. The Accountant will be based in Dubai and responsible for maintaining precise financial records, reconciling bank accounts, processing invoices and expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The Accountant will assist with audits, and tax filings, and analyze operational records to provide insights for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure all financial records in ERP systems as per the actual transactions/reports
• Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accounted for
• Process invoices and expense reports promptly and accurately
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments
• Support audit process
• Assist with tax filings by preparing necessary documentation and supporting schedules
• Analyze records of present and past operations, trends, and costs
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and company procedures
• Prepare an overview of open invoices for customers
• Precisely record collection receipts according to the details provided on the respective invoices
• Proficiently manage Debit/Credit notes
• Manage supplier payment and company staff travel expenses

• ACCA, CPA, or similar qualification preferred
• Strong experience in accounting, especially month/year-end closing, journal entries, and audit process
