We're Hiring: Accountant (Full-Time) - Financial Firm | UAE

We are looking for a

qualified and detail-oriented Accountant

to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced financial firm. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in

QuickBooks

, a strong grasp of

accounting principles

, and the ability to work independently to support day-to-day financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting transactions and entries accurately. Create and maintain company accounts in

QuickBooks

. Set up and manage

Chart of Accounts

aligned with business needs. Perform

bank reconciliations

, vendor payments, and customer invoicing. Prepare and

finalize monthly and annual financial statements

in accordance with

IFRS

. Handle

VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance

in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations. Conduct variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support. Maintain general ledger entries and assist with audit preparations. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions. Support management with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis. Ensure timely and accurate financial closing processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficient in

QuickBooks

- including company setup and GL accounting. Strong knowledge of

IFRS

and

UAE VAT laws

.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

(pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.). Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Previous experience in a financial services or auditing firm. Experience with external audit coordination and reporting.
