The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting the company's financial health. The role involves handling bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure timely closing of books.
Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and payroll.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation.
Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Provide management with financial analysis and reports as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
