Job Description

The Academic Director is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and quality assurance of all academic programs. This role ensures academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and the effective delivery of curriculum, while leading and mentoring academic staff to support institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic design, development, and ongoing enhancement of academic programs and curriculum. Ensure adherence to accreditation requirements and compliance with all relevant educational regulations. Oversee faculty hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing professional development. Evaluate student performance metrics and drive initiatives aimed at continuous academic improvement. Work collaboratively with department heads to improve teaching quality and learning outcomes. Enforce academic policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards across the institution. Promote innovative teaching practices, including the adoption of digital learning tools and technologies. Represent the academic division during audits, external assessments, and regulatory inspections. Manage academic scheduling, including calendars, timetables, and assessments. Provide strategic direction for student success initiatives, including retention, engagement, and academic support.

Qualifications & Experience:

7-10 years of proven experience in academic leadership or education management. Master's or Doctoral degree in Education or a closely related discipline. Strong expertise in accreditation processes and regulatory compliance within the education sector. Proven leadership and team development capabilities in an academic setting. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
