The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students at Petra Adwoa Training Institute. The teacher will deliver engaging lessons, help students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and prepare them for internal assessments and external examinations (IGCSE, A-Level, or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the institute's curriculum and examination board standards (Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, etc.).
Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and accommodate diverse learning styles.
Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and practical manner.
Prepare students for internal assessments, assignments, and external examinations.
Student Support & Development
Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
Conduct tutorials, revision sessions, and extra classes as needed.
Motivate and mentor students to achieve their full potential.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance when required.
Administration & Record Keeping
Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
Prepare and mark assessments, tests, and assignments in a timely manner.
Contribute to reports, evaluation forms, and exam preparation materials.
Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth academic operations.
Professional Contribution
Stay updated with the latest syllabus changes, teaching methods, and educational technologies.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred).
Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) is an advantage.
Previous experience teaching IGCSE, AS & A Level, or equivalent curricula is highly desirable.
Strong subject knowledge and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide students towards academic excellence.
