:

• Responsible to operate DP system as per operation requirement
• Responsible for the continual on -duty - scheme in the DP control room.
• Ensure that all DP system data are recorded.
• Assist in the set up of the DP system operating parameters.
• Assist in performing maintenance on DP equipments
• Assist in Carrying out frequent inspection on DP system sensors, computers and references.
• Should be familiar and implement IMCA requirements related to DP system.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent nautical science degree / diploma
• A Min. qualification required is Chief Mate FG COC II/2 with No limitations.
• Full and unlimited DP certificates from Nautical institute
• Holding IMCA DP log book in which DP experience are recorded.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience as a DPO/2nd officer on DP vessels same capacity.
• Good English Communication skills.
• Good Knowledge of safe practices related to DP operation
• Capable of correcting nautical charts and keeping update of publication
• Knowledge of preparing passage plan for the intended voyage.
• Knowledge of bridge equipment and DP system.
• Responsible to the SDPO for reporting any malfunction of the DP system
