A. Purpose and Scope Manage and supervise the overall day-to-day Operations & Manufacturing of the Plant. B. Responsibilities and Duties \xc2\xb7 Maintaining the manufacturing function tasks includes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the operational activities, as well as driving key areas of production reliability and lean flow of materials. \xc2\xb7 Oversee and monitor the performance of plant operations as it relates to quality, safety, productivity, cost control, employee training, and development while driving continuous improvement in output and cost. \xc2\xb7 Supervising daily production operations and managing a production schedule to ensure timely fulfillment of all orders. \xc2\xb7 Regularly assess internal production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. \xc2\xb7 Oversee a diverse team of production employees engaged in various manufacturing and assembly tasks, ensuring seamless coordination and execution. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate the transportation and distribution of pallets and handling materials to customers or other branches. Effectively manage inbound and outbound logistics to minimize transportation costs while enhancing overall operational efficiency. \xc2\xb7 Drive the identification, selection, prioritization, and assignment of projects, focusing on those with breakthrough potential. Facilitate the strategic alignment of projects to organizational objectives for sustained success. \xc2\xb7 Continuously monitors the department\xe2\x80\x99s manufacturing process for improvements and recommends changes to enhance the production output. \xc2\xb7 Sets standards, directs workflow, and ensures proper documentation of all processes. \xc2\xb7 Develops systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure an effective return on assets. \xc2\xb7 Continuously assess and improve the operational processes within the plant. \xc2\xb7 Prepare the production budget, manage, and monitor accurate expenditures, and ensure adherence to production and staffing requirements. \xc2\xb7 Identify opportunities for improvement and explore ways to reduce costs while safely meeting production targets. \xc2\xb7 Ensure cost-effectiveness in production. \xc2\xb7 Review requisitions and purchase goods based on agreed-upon prices, quantities, and quality, ensuring timely procurement of goods at the right price and value to meet production needs. \xc2\xb7 Monitor the quality standards of pallets. \xc2\xb7 Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives. \xc2\xb7 Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for releasing finished products to customers. \xc2\xb7 Inventory management includes setting and monitoring the maximum and minimum stock as well as the initial implementation of new systems. \xc2\xb7 Maintains awareness of the shortage of any material that may adversely affect the department\xe2\x80\x99s ability to meet schedule requirements. \xc2\xb7 Assist in taking physical inventories by company procedures. \xc2\xb7 Keep all yield factor reports updated and oversee accuracy. General \xc2\xb7 Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of PalletBitz Function, so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective service to customers. \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across PalletBitz Function to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude. \xc2\xb7 Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time. Job Specifications 1. Qualification, Knowledge, experience. a) Academic Qualification and Professional Qualification \xc2\xb7 B-Tech/B.E or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. b) Experience (minimum preferred) \xc2\xb7 Proven experience in managing production & operations in the pallet & handling materials manufacturing industry in the UAE/Middle East. 2. Technical Requirements \xc2\xb7 Expertise in commercial sales, business development & marketing with proven client contract and relationship management abilities especially with large Key Accounts. \xc2\xb7 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards. \xc2\xb7 Results-driven with a commitment to excellence. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of the market dynamics of the waste management industry. \xc2\xb7 Ability to prepare internal and external reports using ERP. 3.
