Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Wood Painter

to join our finishing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting, polishing, and finishing wooden furniture and joinery items with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results that meet company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning before painting or finishing. Mix and apply paints, stains, lacquers, and varnishes according to required shades and finishes. Match colors and finishes as per approved samples or design requirements. Operate spray guns, brushes, and other finishing tools effectively and safely. Inspect completed work for quality, color uniformity, and smoothness. Touch up, repair, or refinish damaged surfaces as required. Coordinate with the finishing, production, and quality teams to meet project deadlines. Maintain all painting equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Follow company safety policies and use appropriate protective gear at all times. Ensure efficient use of materials and minimize wastage.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a

Wood Painter

or

Furniture Finisher

in a joinery or furniture manufacturing setup. Strong knowledge of wood finishes, paints, stains, lacquers, and application techniques. Good understanding of color matching and surface preparation. Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions accurately. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks. Team-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision.
