, and a strong understanding of international welding standards and QA/QC systems, along with solid rope access skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspection and verification of welding processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
Monitor welding activities, joint fit-ups, and consumables to ensure welding techniques and materials meet specified criteria.
Prepare inspection reports, welding logs, and ensure accurate documentation of all quality-related activities.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality procedures, and client requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum
3 years of experience
as a Welding Inspector in Oil & Gas or Marine projects.
Certification in
BGAS
,
CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2
, or
AWS-CWI
is required.
IRATA Level 1/2
with
minimum 1000 log hours
is preferred.
Strong knowledge of welding codes (ASME, AWS, API), inspection procedures, and QA/QC documentation.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
