Job Purpose:
Training of Welders/Fabricators on GTAW, GMAW, and Aluminum welding. Read/interpret/ train & certify Welders on WPS and standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Capable of training welders at GTAW and GMAW as well as Aluminum.
- Capable of training welders according to Welding symbols and 2D drawings.
- Capable of training and facilitating welders on WPS and WPQR.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in welding (practical experience) / use of TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) Welding 4G/5G/6G.
- Has previously worked in the armored vehicle manufacturing industry and has a well-rounded knowledge of armored metals.
- Possess 2 to 10 years of working experience in the welder position.
- NDT certified.
- Certified Welding Inspector Level 2.
- Must be capable of training and assessing welders in GTAW and GMAW.
- Must be able to read and understand 2D drawings/weld symbols and C.A.D.
