What you'll do

Operate tanker trucks to transport liquid cargo to designated locations. Load and unload freight safely, ensuring all cargo is secured properly. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Follow all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving. Utilize manual transmission skills when operating various truck types.

Basic qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement. Experience driving tractor-trailer units with a focus on tanker operations.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Proficiency in operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Forklift certification is a plus. Strong knowledge of load and unload procedures for different types of freight.
