We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Ward Nurse
to join our hospital team in the Republic of
Nauru
. This role involves providing general inpatient care across medical, surgical, and post-acute wards in a resource-limited environment. Ideal for nurses looking to gain international experience and make a real impact in a developing health system.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to admitted patients
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with daily activities
Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations and care plans
Support wound care, IV therapy, and pre/post-operative care
Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team
Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed
Assist with patient and family education
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital inpatient/ward setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Adaptability and cultural sensitivity for working in a remote setting
