Veterinary Surgeon (orthopedic)
Job Description
Ontime Group is looking for a talented Veterinary Surgeon specializing in Orthopedics to join our esteemed practice in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinary professional passionate about delivering high-quality surgical care to animals with orthopedic issues. You will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating pets suffering from a variety of orthopedic conditions while operating in a collaborative and state-of-the-art clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics to determine orthopedic conditions in animal patients.
Conduct orthopedic surgeries, including, but not limited to, fracture repairs, joint reconstructions, and arthroscopic procedures.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring patient comfort and optimal recovery.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide integrated care for patients.
Educate pet owners on treatment options, recovery processes, and preventative care for future orthopedic health.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records by veterinary standards.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary orthopedic practices and continuously seek ways to improve service delivery.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, with a specialization in Orthopedic Surgery highly desirable. Active veterinary license to practice in Abu Dhabi. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital, with significant experience in orthopedic surgery. Demonstrable ability in performing various orthopedic surgical techniques and interventions. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and educate them regarding pet health. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to veterinary care. Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest veterinary practices. Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: AED28,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
