Ontime Group is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an Orthopedic Specialization and MOCCAE certification to join our esteemed veterinary clinic in Abu Dhabi. This pivotal role is designed for a skilled orthopedic surgeon who is passionate about providing high-quality surgical care for animals. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating patients with orthopedic conditions, all while working as part of a dedicated and innovative veterinary team.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive orthopedic assessments and diagnostics to identify conditions requiring surgical intervention. Conduct advanced orthopedic surgeries, including fracture repairs, joint replacements, and corrective osteotomies. Manage the complete care of surgical patients from pre-operative evaluation through post-operative recovery. Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to develop treatment plans that provide the best outcomes for patients. Educate pet owners on the intricacies of orthopedic conditions, surgical procedures, and rehabilitation practices. Stay updated with current practices and advancements in veterinary orthopedics to ensure high-quality care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with veterinary standards and regulations.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, with a specialization in Orthopedics. Valid veterinary license with MOCCAE to practice in Abu Dhabi. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a veterinary role focusing on orthopedic surgery is essential. Proven expertise in various orthopedic surgical techniques and patient management. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Strong commitment to animal welfare and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team while demonstrating autonomy when needed. Desire for continuous learning and professional growth in orthopedic veterinary medicine. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
