About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to join our growing Vacation Homes Rental division. The ideal candidate must have a

proven track record in managing accounts related to short-term rentals

, with strong knowledge of revenue tracking, online booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.), and property management financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the holiday home business Reconcile bookings and revenue from platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, and direct channels Monitor and process guest payments, refunds, and security deposit reconciliations Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L statements, and cash flow projections Track property expenses, utility bills, maintenance costs, and owner payouts Handle VAT submissions and ensure compliance with UAE regulations Liaise with property managers and operations team to ensure accurate financial records Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Ensure accuracy of financial data and maintain audit-ready records

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience

in the holiday home/vacation rental industry Strong understanding of OTA platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, etc.) Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Guesty, Hostaway, Tokeet, etc.) is a plus Solid knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting practices Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties/accounts
