Job Purpose:
  • The Unit Economics manager plays a central role in analyzing and supporting our franchise partners in improving the financial performance of the Pizza Hut Stores.
  • The role focuses on understanding and optimizing the economic viability of each operational unit. This involves analyzing costs, revenue, and profitability on a granular level, identifying areas for transaction acceleration, cost savings, and efficiency improvements, and providing critical analyses and data-driven insights to the franchisees.
  • The role will work with cross-functional partners and the Pizza Hut teams to prioritize actions, define goals, establish KPIs, ensure sound execution of plan, and communicate progress with key stakeholders.
  • You will be empowered to identify profitability opportunities to enable step-change unit economics and to support the relevant teams with execution of these opportunities and sharing best practices.
  • The Manager has exceptional analytical, organizational and oral and written communication skills, demonstrates a strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has the ability to influence others even without direct authority.

Job Function:

  • Conduct detailed financial analyses and benchmarking, examining revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Identify key financial metrics and KPIs to assess the unit\'s economic performance
  • Monitor and manage operational costs, including food and beverage costs, labor costs, and other operating expenses
  • Implement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of unit-level operations.
  • Provide insights into areas for improvement and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competition, and customer preferences.
  • Use market insights to make informed recommendations for pricing strategies and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance, to align strategies and achieve overall business goals.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to enhance unit profitability.
  • Recommend pricing adjustments, menu changes, and operational improvements based on financial analysis.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on unit economics and financial performance.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Deep liaison and coordination with franchisees
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in unit economics.
  • Collaborate and build credibility with business partners to gain support for analysis and recommendations
  • Own strategic projects, requests, and/ or analysis, as needed

Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface directly with and influence Franchisees, Leadership Team members, and cross-functional partners
  • A strategic, commercial and analytical mindset with a record of both pragmatic problem-solving and driving breakthrough results
  • Proven ability to navigate through an ambiguous and dynamic working environment.
  • Self-starter with an ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
  • In addition to being a collaborative team player, ability to build and sustain relationships across all functions and through all levels in an organisation to ensure seamless integration and flawless execution of business plans
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree required, MBA a plus
  • Prior QSR experience is highly regarded
  • Highly proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Office suite, especially building Executive-level PowerPoint presentations and conducting data collection and analysis in Excel
  • Willingness to travel as required
