Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to support the development and integration of autonomous UAV platforms. The role focuses on flight software (ArduPilot/PX4), mission computers, advanced sensor fusion, and system validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, analyze, and implement UAV system architecture, including avionics, flight control, communication, and payloads.

- Integrate mission computers, sensors (GPS, IMU, AHRS, cameras), and communication modules.

- Configure and customize PX4/ArduPilot flight stacks for mission-specific requirements.

- Develop and debug UAV applications in C++ and Python.

- Implement and test MAVLink protocols for ground control and telemetry.

Testing & Validation

Plan and execute HIL/SIL simulations and real-world flight test campaigns.

Conduct system-level validation, verification, and performance optimization.

Analyze telemetry and flight logs for debugging and tuning.

Apply modern techniques in autonomy, path planning, obstacle avoidance, and mission sequencing.

Stay current with UAV system engineering practices and safety standards.

Required Skills & Experience

-Strong knowledge of UAV systems architecture: avionics, flight control, communication, and payload integration.

-Proven experience with PX4 or ArduPilot configuration and mission planning.

-Advanced programming in C++ and Python.

-Proficiency with MAVLink and telemetry systems.

-Familiarity with navigation systems (GPS, IMU, computer vision).

-Knowledge of UAV autonomy and mission planning algorithms.

-Proficient with development tools, version control (Git), and modern workflows.

-Strong problem-solving skills for debugging software, hardware, and integration issues.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

-Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
