Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Guidance & Control Engineer to support the development of advanced autonomous UAV systems. The role focuses on flight dynamics, control algorithms, trajectory planning, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

-Develop, implement, and tune flight control algorithms (PID, adaptive/nonlinear/robust control).

-Analyze and optimize flight logs to improve lateral and longitudinal performance.

-Design and implement guidance laws, path planning, and trajectory optimization.

-Integrate navigation data from GPS, IMU, AHRS, and external sensors.

-Apply sensor fusion techniques (e.g., Kalman filters, EKF).

-Build and maintain simulation models (MATLAB/Simulink or Python).

-Validate control strategies through HIL/SIL testing and flight trials.

-Work closely with flight software and integration engineers.

-Document control architectures, test results, and tuning methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

-Strong background in aerospace control systems, flight dynamics, and stability analysis.

-Experience with UAV autopilots (ArduPilot or PX4) and parameter tuning.

-Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python for control design and simulation.

-Familiarity with trajectory planning, path following, and guidance algorithms.

-Experience with advanced control techniques (adaptive, nonlinear, robust).

-Knowledge of sensor fusion methods (Kalman filters, EKF, UKF).

-Hands-on experience with HIL/SIL simulation environments.

-Ability to analyze flight data and troubleshoot stability or performance issues.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Control Systems, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

-Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
