The Entry-Level Information Security Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of the Information Security team, with a focus on managing service tickets, assisting in identity and access management activities, and supporting incident handling and risk management tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in information security, gain hands-on experience across multiple areas, and contribute to strengthening the organization's overall security posture. The successful candidate will need to coordinate across teams to maintain high standards of security and help drive improvements in the processes.
What You Will Do: Service and Workflow Management
Monitor and manage security-related tickets and requests in the queue, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members when needed.
Support in preparing basic reports and summaries on recurring issues or trends.
Assist in improving standard operating procedures for common requests.
Identity Access and Support
Process user access requests and assist in access reviews under supervision.
Help maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions in line with company policies.
Support ongoing initiatives to strengthen identity and access controls.
Information Security Operations
Provide first-level support for security alerts or incidents by following defined playbooks.
Coordinate with other teams (e.g., SOC, IT support) for issue resolution.
Maintain logs and records for audit and tracking purposes.
Risk Assessment and Management
Assist in gathering data for audits, assessments, and risk reviews.
Support in updating security documentation, checklists, and registers.
Help with awareness or process improvement activities as assigned.
General Responsibilities
Support the development of a strong security posture through active participation in security operations.
Help ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to information security.
