A Travel Sales Agent helps clients plan, organize, and book their travel arrangements. They act as the link between travellers and service providers like airlines, hotels, and tour operators, ensuring smooth, enjoyable, and well-organized trips.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation & Planning:
Understand clients' travel preferences, budget, and requirements.
Suggest destinations, itineraries, and activities.
Prepare personalized travel plans.
Booking & Reservations:
Book flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and tour packages.
Issue tickets, confirmations, and vouchers.
Ensure best pricing and availability.
Sales & Promotion:
Promote travel packages, seasonal offers, and deals.
Upsell additional services like travel insurance and guided tours.
Customer Support:
Provide advice on visas, travel regulations, and insurance.
Handle client queries, cancellations, and complaints.
Documentation & Records:
Maintain client records, invoices, and booking details.
Track payments, refunds, and commissions.
Market Research & Networking:
Keep updated with travel trends, airline/hotel policies, and visa rules.
Build relationships with travel suppliers and partners.
Administrative Duties:
Prepare sales and performance reports.
Coordinate with marketing, finance, and other teams.
Skills Required:

Knowledge of travel destinations, visas, and booking systems.

Educational Requirements:
