Job Summary:



We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tourism & Travel Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our travel services in our. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth execution of all travel and tourism operations, including planning, logistics, and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:



Operations Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of travel operations, including tour packages, transportation logistics, hotel accommodations, and ground services. Team Leadership: Lead a team of travel agents, coordinators, and support staff to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency. Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners (e.g., hotels, transportation companies, activity providers) to ensure high standards and competitive pricing. Customer Experience: Ensure that every aspect of the customer journey is seamless, from booking through to post-trip feedback. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during travel. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor budgets and cost forecasts, ensuring that travel packages and services are delivered within financial guidelines. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations are in compliance with local laws, safety regulations, and industry standards. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement strategies for growing the business and enhancing the customer experience. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the tourism and travel industry to suggest new destinations, activities, and experiences for clients. Reporting & Analytics: Regularly report on operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to optimize operations. Coordinate with Head Office (UAE) for the development of the business.

Requirements:



Proven experience in tourism and travel operations management, preferably in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of travel logistics, vendor management, and customer service. Budget management experience and understanding of cost control principles. Proficiency in travel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred). Knowledge of international travel regulations, safety standards, and tourism trends is a plus. Fluent in Sinhala & Tamil languages will be added advantage.
