Operations Manager - Travel and Tourism



The Travel Operations Manager manages all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support, tour assignments as well as overall control over day-to-day operations.

The job holder would be service-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills to be able to guide the operations teams to address any customer feedback and vendor management issues.

Lead the overall delivery and performance of complex projects and operations management.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure mutual success and contract longevity.

Oversee multi-disciplined teams, including People Managers and support functions such as finance and procurement.

Drive operational excellence through effective leadership and strategy implementation.

Ensure compliance with international and local statutory requirements, as well as industry best practices in facilities management.

Manage overall operations of the Agency.

Follow up new Business opportunities & setting up meetings. Plan and prepare presentations, communicating new product, developments to prospective client, contribute to the development of Marketing materials.

Manage & Retain relationships with existing clients.

Facilitate smooth and easy execution of services from arrival till departure.

Adhere to requirements, deliver maximum satisfaction and create loyalty to company brand.

Follow-up cash / advances supplier's payment in coordination with the account to eliminate any issues, which can affect the service.

Coordinate with other departments, transportation and ground operation to make sure all services done accordingly to client's itinerary with accuracy and quality.

Follow up the confirmed business with all agents & coordinate with company operation team in each office.

Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns.

Gather feedback about provided services, implement pre-emptive action plans on positive and negative points to improve our services.

We want a dynamic leader with a proven track record of managing complex operations and teams in a high-performing environment. Our minimum requirements for this role are:

Over 7+ years of experience in complex project and operations management within the Travel & Tourism Industry.

At least 5+ years of experience managing multi-disciplined teams, including support functions.

Bachelor's degree in a related field - MUST be attested.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.

Knowledge of international and local statutory requirements, along with industry best practices in facilities management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
