The Ticket Booking Executive is responsible for managing domestic and international flight bookings for employees, ensuring compliance with UAE company travel policies, cost efficiency, and timely coordination using approved ticketing software and travel platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle flight ticket bookings using airline and travel software
Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to search, reserve, issue, reissue, and cancel tickets
Coordinate with approved UAE travel agencies and airlines
Compare fares and recommend cost-effective travel options
Manage ticket changes, refunds, and fare differences
Maintain accurate booking records and travel documentation in systems
Ensure bookings comply with company and client travel policies
Handle urgent and last-minute travel requests efficiently
Share confirmed itineraries, e-tickets, and boarding details with employee
Ticketing Software & Systems:
GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or Worldspan
Airline booking portals and UAE travel agency platforms
Microsoft Excel and email for tracking and reporting
ERP or internal HR systems for travel coordination (if applicable)
Requirements & Skills:
Proven experience in ticket booking using GDS software in the UAE
Strong knowledge of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
:
Diploma or Degree in Travel & Tourism or related field
Experience in manpower, facilities management, or corporate companies in the UAE
