Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tendering Officer with strong experience in engineering consultancy to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full tendering cycle--from identifying opportunities, preparing technical and commercial submissions, to coordinating with internal teams and ensuring compliance with client requirements and authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze RFPs, RFQs, ITTs, and tender documents for engineering and construction projects.

Prepare, coordinate, and submit technical and commercial tender packages in line with client specifications and deadlines.

Liaise with internal departments such as design, supervision, contracts, and finance to gather required inputs.

Maintain updated tender logs, trackers, and submission schedules.

Ensure compliance with project requirements, authority guidelines (DMT, ADM, ADQCC, ITC, etc.), and company standards.

Manage clarifications, pre-bid queries, and correspondence with clients.

Evaluate bid terms, risks, and contractual conditions prior to submission.

Follow up on submitted bids and maintain communication with clients until award.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering,

3-7 years of experience in tendering within an engineering consultancy (design & supervision projects preferred).

Strong understanding of tendering procedures for Abu Dhabi authorities and government entities.

Excellent command of English (Arabic is an advantage).

Advanced MS Office and strong technical writing skills.

Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Strong coordination, communication, and time-management abilities.
