About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive
Procurement Officer
with proven experience in
Abu Dhabi
to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, and purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local procurement regulations, supply chains, and vendor networks within the Emirate.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute procurement activities in line with company policies and budgets.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
Ensure compliance with
Abu Dhabi-specific procurement laws and guidelines
.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, RFPs, and contract agreements.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Coordinate with finance and operations departments to forecast needs and manage costs.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in Abu Dhabi
(mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong knowledge of UAE procurement laws and regulations.
Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in procurement or supply chain (CIPS, CSCP, etc.).
Experience working in the construction, engineering, or oil & gas sectors.
