We are seeking a

Fixed Telecommunication Expert

as a part of our

DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Abu Dhabi

. The job opening is in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:

Review, approve and monitor the Client Contractors' configuration control plan that will define a process to maintain consistency across the design of the various components of the railway system Serve as key technical expert for fixed telecommunication radio systems on the project (e.g., for High-Speed Rail) Contribute to system integration, quality assurance, interface management, and oversight of implementation by contractors and subcontractors Ensure project deliverables for the telecommunication radio scope meet the required stand-ards and deadlines Supervise and coordinate with project teams regarding radio telecommunication aspects Support technical reviews and evaluation of contractor submissions related to radio systems Provide expertise for problem resolution, risk assessment, and design validation relating to telecommunication radio systems Participate in system acceptance, testing, commissioning, and handover activities as necessary

Qualifications:

University degree (preferably Master's and/or Chartered Engineer status) Minimum 15 years of experience in managing design and/or construction of rail projects Demonstrable experience in projects of comparable size and complexity, preferably in high-speed rail or similar infrastructure Local Experience in Middle East and/or UAE project experience is advantageous Fluent in spoken and written English ins mandatory; Arabic language skills would be an advantage
