Asset Integrity and Process Safety Manager - ADNOC Group - Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position Overview
Asset Integrity and Process Safety Manager roles with ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi lead companywide integrity assurance and process safety programs across operating assets and pipelines throughout their lifecycle. This role establishes policies, standards, and a center of excellence to provide assurance, visibility of integrity risks, and informed decision-making while promoting a culture of operational excellence and safety across oil and energy operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve asset integrity and process safety policies, frameworks, standards, and practices in line with ADNOC requirements
  • Implement companywide programs to strengthen integrity assurance and process safety across the full asset lifecycle
  • Manage the technical authority framework to formalize technical decisions impacting asset integrity and process safety performance
  • Establish and manage processes to review technical integrity, operating integrity, and process safety events, risks, and opportunities and ensure mitigation actions are implemented
  • Develop and maintain coherent reporting systems for asset integrity and process safety performance to support management and shareholder decisions
  • Prepare and communicate integrity and process safety performance reports to corporate leadership and shareholders
  • Build effective internal networks with process owners and subject matter experts and activate governance to maximize value
  • Promote a proactive integrity culture, challenge legacy practices, and align operations with world-class standards
  • Provide expert advice, training, and support and act as an interface between sites and corporate entities
  • Define competence requirements and develop asset integrity and process safety capability across sites
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Asset Integrity and Process Safety risk management framework with live risk registers at site and corporate levels
  • Manage the corporate center of expertise supporting AIPS risk assessment and mitigation for projects and operations
  • Establish risk-based assurance programs across projects, operating assets, and pipelines including Level 2 and 3 audits in compliance with ADNOC standards
  • Explore and implement digital technologies including data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twin, robotics, and drones to enhance integrity and process safety
  • Lead development of AIPS data analytics platforms aligned with digitalization strategies and oil and gas 4.0 objectives
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term operational plans aligned with division objectives and performance targets
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering with advanced knowledge of quality, business process, and performance management systems
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • At least 6 years in a relevant managerial role with direct exposure to plant operations and supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong background in gas processing, production engineering, maintenance, inspection, and project management
Skills Set
  • Mastery of integrity assurance methods, systems, and techniques
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and ADNOC guidelines
  • Proven leadership, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Sound understanding of HSE principles and their application within oil and gas operations
