You will possess 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Technical Aftersales trainer or minimum 5 years working experience in a modern automotive dealership with 12 months of technical training delivery.

Job Summary
  • The Technical Trainer supports our client to achieve its retail network competence goals by delivering technical training to technicians of client distributors across Middle East.
  • The Trainer delivers training to technicians from Middle East distributors. The training covers core curriculum, new product information and additional topics. Training takes place either in the Training Center or using a virtual-learning platform.
  • The Trainer is responsible for ensuring learners grasp the course information and can perform the tasks described in the course learning objectives. The Trainer uses training satisfaction survey feedback to adjust and improve his/her training performance.
  • Deliver automotive technical training in blended learning design.
  • Assist staff in the provision of technical advice within the automotive retailer network
  • Deliver new product launch trainings, as well as technical assessments.
  • Maintain a continuous awareness of all requirements associated with assigned courses
  • Working directly with Training Managers, either lead or contribute to the development of new course material, or amend existing material
  • Use LMS to monitor and maintain the quality of the training provision
  • Attend customer sponsored \xe2\x80\x9cTrain the Trainer\xe2\x80\x9d workshops
  • Continue professional development formally through our client and GP Strategies initiatives, and informally through self-study and monitoring training satisfaction survey results
  • Manages tools and equipment being used in training, requesting maintenance and reporting breakages and loss as required
Quality / Health & Safety (H&S)
  • Rigorously follows Health & Safety procedures
  • Highlights and explains Health & Safety procedures to learners and monitors learners.
  • safety behavior throughout training
  • Identifies and takes immediate action to mitigate risks.
Reports to: Senior Training Administrator, Middle East Project \xe2\x80\x93 GP Strategies

The designation of Trainer seniority (e.g., Junior Trainer, Trainer, Senior Trainer) can differ between GP Strategies and the client. A client designation is based on the trainer\xe2\x80\x99s extent of training certification. GP\xe2\x80\x99s designation reflects the team\xe2\x80\x99s internal organisation and additional responsibilities that are not client-facing.

Physical Demands

Based full-time at our clients Middle East Training Centre, some days can be worked from home, based on agreement by supervisor and the client.

International travel will occasionally be required for either face-to-face training at distributors throughout the Middle East region, and events.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Technical Aftersales trainer or minimum 5 years working experience in a modern automotive dealership with 12 months of technical training delivery
  • Experience of delivering technical training in the areas of Drivetrain, Electrical, Interface, Chassis
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Excellent soft skills (e.g., communication, social, respect for different cultures etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Media competences (VCT, handling modern media e.g., flipcharts, PIN board, MIRO etc.)
  • High coaching competences (the ability to guide others in reflection and self-knowledge)
  • Passion to deliver high quality delegated focused training which meet the local market.
  • Self-starter and driven and willingness to travel.
