The ideal candidate will ensure that engineering, design, and construction activities meet project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the technical team in planning, design review, engineering, and construction of high-rise projects.
Review and approve structural, architectural, and MEP designs, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and project specifications.
Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve engineering and construction challenges.
Oversee material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor construction quality, safety standards, and technical compliance on-site.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for technical and engineering challenges.
Ensure timely completion of project milestones within approved budget and schedule.
Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating suppliers/vendors.
Report project progress, technical issues, and resolutions to senior management and clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum
10-15 years of experience
, with at least 5 years in a managerial role on
high-rise building projects
.
Strong knowledge of international building codes, local regulations, and high-rise construction methodologies.
Proven expertise in structural, MEP coordination, and facade engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project/Primavera, and other relevant software.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience with
mixed-use towers, residential, commercial, or hospitality high-rise developments
.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Membership in professional bodies (e.g., PMI, ASCE, RICS, or equivalent) is an advantage.
