Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Technical Manager

with a strong background in

high-rise building construction

to join our team in

Dubai

. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of successfully managing all technical aspects of major construction projects, particularly in the

final stages and closing of high-rise developments

.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the technical aspects of high-rise construction projects from inception through to successful handover. Oversee all MEP, structural, and architectural coordination, ensuring compliance with local regulations, standards, and project specifications. Manage the project closure process, including final inspections, snagging, handover documentation, authority approvals (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.), and final account settlements. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal departments to ensure timely and quality delivery of technical deliverables. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical reports. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site in a proactive and timely manner. Monitor progress against project timelines and ensure adherence to budget, quality, and safety requirements. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including building codes and sustainability requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams and junior engineers. Prepare and present technical reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. A Master's degree is an advantage. Minimum

10 years

of relevant experience, with at least

5 years in the UAE

working on

high-rise building projects (30+ floors)

. Proven experience in

closing large-scale projects

, including authority approvals, client handover, and final accounts. Strong knowledge of Dubai construction regulations, codes, and authority procedures. Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills. PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
