We are seeking an experienced

Technical Buyer

with a strong background in the

crushing and heavy equipment industry

. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of crushers, screens, and steel structures, and a proven ability to manage procurement, negotiate effectively, and coordinate heavy equipment logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure mechanical and structural components related to crushing plants (e.g., crushers, screens, feeders, motors, conveyors, steel structures). Evaluate and select suppliers based on technical specifications, pricing, and delivery terms. Prepare and issue RFQs, price comparison sheets, and purchase orders. Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchases without compromising quality. Plan and coordinate logistics for deliveries, including booking

lowbeds, flatbeds, trailers, and cranes

for local and international transport. Track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier contracts, and performance evaluations. Work closely with engineering, workshop, and logistics teams to understand technical requirements and timelines. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project timelines.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical procurement in the

crushing/screening or heavy equipment

industry. Strong technical understanding of crushers, screens, vibrating feeders, motors, and related machinery and steel structures. Hands-on experience in

ordering and planning logistics

such as cranes, trailers, lowbeds, and flatbeds. Proven negotiation and supplier management skills. Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical or Industrial Engineering background is a plus. Knowledge of local and international logistics providers. Experience with crushing plant erection or spare parts is an advantage.
