About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented
Team Leader
to lead our
Delegate Sales team
for high-profile conferences and B2B events held in Australia. In this pivotal role, you will manage, motivate, and coach a team of delegate sales executives to achieve and exceed revenue targets, while ensuring the highest level of performance, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, support, and manage a team of delegate sales executives focused on selling tickets/packages to senior-level professionals.
Drive daily performance through coaching, pipeline reviews, and sales strategy implementation.
Monitor KPIs, track progress, and report team performance to senior management.
Collaborate with marketing, production, and operations teams to align sales efforts with campaign timelines and target audiences.
Identify opportunities for growth, process improvement, and staff development.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales team members.
Handle key client interactions when necessary and support team members with complex deals or escalations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in delegate/ticket sales or B2B inside sales, ideally within conferences, events, or media preferred
Previous experience leading or supervising a sales team.
Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques and the full sales cycle.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Target-driven, organized, and highly motivated by results.
Strong CRM and reporting skills.
