Job Overview
As a Lifeguard Team Leader at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, you will lead a professional team dedicated to maintaining water safety at world-class standards. Your leadership will ensure guest well-being, effective supervision, and compliance with international water safety protocols.
What You'll Do

• Supervise lifeguards and coordinate daily operations across pool and beach areas
• Ensure lifeguards are actively engaged, compliant with SOPs, and attentive at all assigned posts
• Guide, motivate, and mentor team members, maintaining morale and operational readiness
• Handle guest concerns or safety incidents professionally, escalating when necessary
• Monitor water areas for safety risks and respond swiftly to emergencies
• Uphold Ellis & Associates and EIAC safety standards with hands-on leadership
• Assist with audits, drills, training programs, and shift scheduling

Ideal Profile

• Valid Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Instructor certification
• 2-3 years lifeguard experience in a 5-star hotel or water park; team leader experience preferred
• Strong understanding of international safety standards and multicultural teamwork
• Calm under pressure, reliable in emergencies, and guest-service focused
• Physically fit, professional in appearance, and a role model for the team
