Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for full life cycle recruitment supporting various levels of entry to mid- level positions across assigned departments in the organization. The Talent Acquisition Officer will also be responsible for candidate sourcing, administrative support, and other team project tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partners with Hiring Managers on recruitment strategies for entry level to mid-level openings and ensures the requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Leads full life cycle recruitment efforts for all assigned departments and supports new hire workflow.
  • Develops, builds, and maintains candidate relationships through ongoing communications, promoting interest in positions and organization, to yield qualified candidates for assigned positions with minimal turnaround times to fill vacancies.
  • Recruits a diverse pool of candidates using a variety of sources including job boards, referrals, social media, networks, resume databases, external agencies, etc.
  • Proactive Recruitment - management of informational interview process and development of \xe2\x80\x9cPassive\xe2\x80\x9d candidate pipeline for current and future opportunities.
  • Independently completes thorough evaluation of resumes, performs consistent and compliant interviews, documents candidate evaluations, provides recommendations to managers, and keeps accurate records for assigned searches via Talent Acquisition systems.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition Coordinator to schedule and orchestrate candidate interviews via phone, in-person, video interviews, etc. fulfilling the workflow of Hire-to-onboard process.
  • Advises hiring managers on interviews with internal candidates, facilitates transitions between managers, and closely communicates with all candidates throughout the recruitment process to include next steps, disposition, and selection as appropriate.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition Coordinator to draft, extend, negotiate, and close on employment offers.
  • Educates and trains hiring managers and leaders on recruiting best practices, interviewing techniques, conducting reference checks, candidate selection, compensation considerations, employee onboarding, etc.
  • Executes on Community Outreach, College Recruitment, and Diversity Programs by attending and coordinating recruitment events, and assists on strategic development of the program to identify events/college programs aligned with current and future talent needs.
  • Work with approved external staffing agencies, college career centers, and other recruitment channels as needed.
  • Manages and maintains records in Applicant Tracking on the HRIS.
  • Ensures Accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality in their work as an HR team member.
  • Serves as second (backup to HR Coordinator) line inquiry point for employees and managers for Talent Acquisition and provides a highly professional experience for our internal and external clients by ensuring their inquiry is promptly answered or elevated per defined process.
  • Participates in HR program initiatives and projects as assigned.
  • Handles all matters with the highest level of professionalism while working comfortably in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Successfully collaborates across departments in a matrix organization.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Skills Required:
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiting Manager, Recruitment Consultant or Recruiting Coordinator.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP - Success Factor HRMS system is an advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, and consistently maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and solve problems.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Your ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers will be essential to your success.
  • Desire to coach and develop others to ensure \xe2\x80\x9cbest in class\xe2\x80\x9d delivery of HR Services.
  • Consistently demonstrates urgency in assisting internal and external clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in human resources preferred, or other related field, from a four-year college or University preferred.
  • 2-3 years related experience supporting a talent acquisition function.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Applicant Tracking System(s), and HRIS system(s).
  • Prior in-house corporate HR experience is a plus.
  • Arabic speaking is an advantage.
  • The UAE Driver\'s License is an advantage.
