Job Description

This role is tailored for a highly experienced System Analyst (5+ years) seeking to transition expertise into the Enterprise Architecture (EA) domain. The position demands deep technical design proficiency and the ability to apply systemic thinking to strategic, enterprise-wide challenges. The successful candidate will play a critical role in formalizing architecture governance and defining the long-term technology blueprint.

Core Responsibilities and Focus Areas

1. System Architecture Documentation & Governance

Documentation: Own the development and maintenance of comprehensive Current-State and Target-State architectural documentation for major technology platforms and business domains. Design Translation: Convert complex business requirements and strategic mandates into clear, robust technical design specifications and architectural blueprints. Standards Adherence: Enforce technical standards, design patterns, and architectural principles across development and engineering teams to ensure solution quality, scalability, and security.

2. Strategic Planning and Modeling

Gap Analysis: Assist Enterprise Architects in performing detailed capability gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current IT capabilities and required strategic goals. Roadmap Contribution: Provide data-driven input to the Technology Roadmap, focusing on technical dependencies, retirement of legacy systems, and integration opportunities. Architecture Modeling: Utilize and contribute to architectural modeling tools and standards (e.g., UML, Archimate) to effectively visualize and communicate complex architectural decisions.

3. Architectural Review and Stakeholder Engagement

Review Preparation: Prepare and present detailed architectural proposals, impact analyses, and technology assessments for review by the Architectural Review Board (ARB). Cross-Domain Collaboration: Engage actively with business leaders, Product Managers, and IT domain experts to align system design choices with overarching Business, Application, Data, and Technology strategies. Technology Evaluation: Conduct objective evaluations of new technologies and vendors, assessing technical feasibility, risk, and integration impact on the enterprise landscape.

Educational Requirement

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent work experience

Candidates immediately available in Qatar and having a QID with NOC for visa transfer to apply.

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
