Key Responsibilities
Conduct land, topographic, and construction surveys using modern surveying equipment.
Establish control points, benchmarks, and reference lines for projects.
Verify site layouts, alignments, levels, and dimensions as per approved drawings.
Supervise and review survey works carried out by junior surveyors and survey assistants.
Ensure surveying activities comply with project requirements, QCS standards, and local authority regulations.
Prepare and review survey reports, drawings, and documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
Resolve surveying discrepancies and provide technical solutions on site.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of surveying instruments.
Support as-built surveys and final handover documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Valid UPDA Grade A Certification (Mandatory).
Minimum
5-10 years of relevant experience
, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in Qatar.
Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level), and software.
Familiarity with QCS, Ashghal, and local authority requirements.
Ability to manage teams and work independently.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Software & Technical Skills
AutoCAD and relevant surveying software.
MS Office applications.
GPS and Total Station data processing tools.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on infrastructure, roads, utilities, or high-rise projects.
Leadership and mentoring capability.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
