Job Description

Experience on Surface Grinding in heavy and medium engineering machine shop. Produces grinded parts by setting up, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.

? Plans grinding by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and grinding parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). ? Sets-up Surface Grinding by installing suitable grinding wheels based on the base material to be grinded. ? Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. ? Maintains specifications by observing, troubleshooting processes; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. ? Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. ? Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs. ? Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. ? Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. ? Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications. ? Accomplishes organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. ? Promote safe HSE culture in the workforce. ? Perform OH&S Hazard Identification & Risk assessment & Environmental Aspect & Impact study to improve the HSE in their areas of Functions ? Help to Achieve QHSE Objectives & Continual Improvement of IMS Management system ? Report the timely reporting & investigation of Incidents, Near Misses & Fatal injuries. ? Ensure that all assignments are followed as per HSEQ requirements. ? Actively Participates in emergency response programs.
