1) A diploma in mechanical engineering with minimum 5 years as a hands-on experienced Mechanical technician 2) To be familiar with all equipment\xe2\x80\x99s in plants, maintain all maintenance equipment\xe2\x80\x99s accurate documents integrity and equipment history database reachable 3) Carrying out planned maintenance programme on a wide range of equipment with emphasis on compressor, generators, diesel engines, pumps and hydraulics 4) Responsible for maintenance for all rotating and static equipment 5) Responsible for all the Mechanical plant PPM 6) Identify Mechanical critical equipment and critical spare parts for the facility 7) Installs, removes, inspects and repairs mechanical spare parts like bearings, seals on typical mechanical equipment 8) Performs major overhaul of equipment with or without external contractors and vendors 9) Familiarization with Equipment Alignment methods 10) Perform repair and maintenance work following sketches and procedures, and involving such tasks as welding, drilling, tapping, lathe operations, milling machine work, surface grinding, metal heating / cutting, and quality control 11) Exemplify ownership of plant and equipment with regard to housekeeping and reliability respectively 12) Response to maintenance requirements that could be scheduled or unscheduled/emergency jobs, on 24/7 base 13) Ensuring that all safety systems are restored upon completion of work (where applicable) and that the equipment is fully functional and worksite left in an appropriate and tidy condition 14) Train both maintenance and non-maintenance personnel to provide the requisite knowledge for them to complete assigned tasks correctly and safely Job Type: Contract
