Support Services Manager Grade: GG11 Location: Riyadh & Al Majma ah JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

· The Support Services Manager works as a key part of a support services team providing support services advice, guidance and service delivery on a range of matters to a business or functional area to meet operational needs of customers, line management and the business. · This role works within agreed frameworks and would be involved in the development, implementation and management of employee support services policies and processes. The role requires a good and broad professional knowledge and keen understanding of employee support services principles and practices, including an understanding of the impact and implications of decisions made, and of relevant legislation. · The delivery of the role will typically be through the leadership and management of a team of employee support services professionals but does also required significant subject matter expertise as an individual contributor. · The Support Services Manager can be called upon to deliver any employee support services related tasks and activities commensurate with their necessary skill set.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION The role is responsible for the delivery of key employee services at the respective location, predominantly those services required for expatriates and their sponsored dependants along with the associated complexities. Full details are as described in the published employee services menu including, but is not limited to, travel, education, expat transport, fleet services, expatriate induction and onboarding, residents' management including residency standards, expat health insurance, warehousing, brokering & KSA Government & visa services, IMT & duty officer services as well as a range of other associated expatriate life-cycle support services. · The Support Services Manager typically works as part of a support services team providing support services advice, guidance and service delivery on a range of matters to a business or functional area to meet operational needs of customers, line management and the business. · Will hold appropriate levels of DOA and be fully accountable for all budgets that are delegated to the job holder. · Will support necessary performance reporting through to QFR and other business reviews as may be necessary · Sets SMART objectives for self and team members in the management of employee services at the respective location. · Interfaces with all business and KPC management · Running numerous team meetings and reporting employee services performance and metrics on a regular basis to senior management · The role would typically require a degree in business administration or related discipline. · Has a good understanding of support services concepts and procedures within own technical/ subject area and a basic knowledge in other functional areas. · Role typically requires a relevant university degree, or an extensive amount of practical support services knowledge gained through experience. · The requirement for a broader basic knowledge of other support services concepts and procedures implies the need to understand them in context, how they sit in the organisation as a whole and how they relate to their own support services area. · Their level of proficiency enables them to (1) apply and consolidate specialist skills and knowledge and ensure essential procedures are followed (2) help to identify the standards and specifications around which others will operate · The role requires a basic understanding of their own support services area and how it interacts with others within other functions. · The role requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on analysis of factual information, expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through application of acquired support services experience and may be guided by precedents. · The role has an impact on the business by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating service delivery to customers. · The role may not have direct responsibility for the financial or resource
