Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supplier Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Imports & Logistics team. You will play a key role to help identify, vet, and manage suppliers worldwide, as well as build and maintain a comprehensive supplier database.Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential food and packaging product suppliers across various regions (global focus). Assess supplier reliability, product range, pricing, certifications, and logistics capabilities. Reach out to suppliers to gather necessary information and negotiate basic terms when needed. Build and maintain a well-organized, searchable supplier database (Excel, Google Sheets, or other tools). Continuously update supplier records with contact details, product lists, pricing, and key communication history. Report findings and provide recommendations based on supplier evaluations.
Requirements:
Experience in supplier sourcing. Strong research skills. Excellent communication skills Familiarity with the food industry and wholesale markets is a plus. High attention to detail and excellent organization. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,600.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
