Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Supplier Development Specialist

to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and managing supplier performance to meet organizational goals. This role plays a key part in strengthening supply chain efficiency, driving quality improvements, and ensuring supplier compliance with established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate new and existing suppliers to ensure alignment with company quality and performance standards. Lead supplier development initiatives, driving continuous improvement in product quality and delivery. Analyze supplier capabilities, identify gaps, and implement action plans to mitigate risks and enhance performance. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to support sourcing, procurement, and engineering teams. Monitor supplier performance using data-driven metrics and conduct regular supplier audits. Ensure all suppliers meet regulatory and contractual obligations. Develop strategic supplier relationships to improve overall supply chain resilience and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE supplier networks, industry trends, and compliance standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of

5 years' experience

in supplier development or a similar role. Proven expertise in

supplier evaluation

,

supplier quality

, and

supply chain improvement initiatives

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of

UAE supplier networks

and local industry standards. Experience in the

ecological or environmental engineering sector

is an added advantage.

Chinese national

preferred, due to supplier coordination requirements.
