1. Operational and Strategic Management:

Store Opening/closing (as per the schedule) (Ensure hours of operation are in compliance with local laws).

Oversee all daily operations of the store and ensure operational and revenue goals are met.

Develop daily and weekly operational plans to enhance efficiency and improve customer service.

Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies regarding store operating hours.

2. Quality and Standards Management:

Conduct regular store walkthroughs to ensure adherence to display and quality standards.

Supervise product merchandising and organization to ensure an attractive and compliant presentation.

Monitor and implement Category Management policies to ensure product variety and meet sales targets.

Enforce the Product Expiry Policy and ensure the quality and safety of fresh products (fruits, vegetables, butchery, deli & cheese, bakery, and roastery).-

3. Inventory and Resource Management:

Oversee stock replenishment processes to ensure product availability at all times.

Review and analyze inventory data to prevent stock outs or overstock situations.

Ensure all products on display have clear and visible pricing (KVIs - Key Value Items).

4. Health, Safety, and Cleanliness:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store.

Monitor the performance of cooling systems and temperatures, reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant department promptly

Implement and enforce Health & Safety Policies to ensure a safe environment for customers and employees.

5. Marketing and Promotional Management:

Ensure promotional campaigns are executed accurately and in compliance with company standards.

Monitor the impact of promotions on sales and provide periodic reports.

Oversee the distribution of promotional leaflets and ensure they reach the target audience effectively.

6. Team and Human Resource Management:

Organize and manage monthly staff schedules based on operational needs.

Address employee-related issues in coordination with the HR department.

Ensure fair treatment of all employees regardless of nationality, gender, religion, or race.

Proposing disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and procedures.

7. Revenue and Financial Reporting:

Submit daily sales reports to the cash collector on time.

Review daily financial records (Daily Till Bulletin) to ensure accuracy.

Monitor store-related documents (LPOs, Invoices, GRVs, Transfers) to - ensure timely updates and delivery.

Ensure proper communication with suppliers via email regarding GRV policies.

8. Customer Service and Relationship Management:

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues professionally and efficiently.

Enhance customer experience by delivering high-quality service.

Build long-term relationships with customers by improving service levels.

9. Security and Safety:

Safeguard the store keys and ensure proper locking procedures at the end of each day.

Adhere to the Store Checklist without fail.

10. Continuous Analysis and Improvement:

Analyze store performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Propose improvements to operational processes and cost reduction strategies.

11. Communication and Coordination:

Coordinate efforts between different teams within the store (sales, inventory, customer service).

Maintain effective communication with middle and upper management to align with strategic goals.

12. Professional Development:

Participate in training programs to enhance managerial and leadership skills.

Train employees on best practices to improve their performance.

13. Additional Tasks:

Perform any additional duties assigned by upper management.

Contribute to developing new strategies to improve overall store

Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
