Job Summary

Responsible for the structural design, analysis, coordination, and supervision of high-rise building projects in compliance with UAE building codes, international standards, and local authority requirements. Ensures structural integrity, safety, and cost efficiency throughout all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis

Design structural systems for high-rise buildings using concrete, steel, and composite materials. Perform load calculations (gravity, wind, seismic) based on Dubai Municipality and international standards (BS, ACI, Eurocodes). Use structural software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Revit Structure).

Drawings & Documentation

Prepare and review structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. Ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.

Coordination & Collaboration

Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants. Participate in design meetings, resolve site-related structural issues, and provide engineering solutions.

Site Supervision

Conduct structural inspections during construction. Ensure proper execution of formwork, reinforcement, post-tensioning, and concrete works.

Compliance & Approvals

Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, or other authorities for design approvals. Adhere to UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and local building regulations.

Quality & Safety

Ensure structural safety, stability, and durability. Monitor quality control and adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). 5+ years of experience in high-rise building projects (G+20 and above). Strong knowledge of UAE codes, DM regulations, and international standards. Proficient in structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

UAE Society of Engineers Membership Dubai Municipality/Trakhees approval (Structural Engineer Category)
