Position Overview
We are hiring a Senior Structural Engineer to join Studio 360, the design and engineering hub for Azizi Developments in Dubai. In this role, you will lead the structural design and execution of high-rise and mega projects, ensuring seamless integration of structural systems within complex developments. You will collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and consultants, delivering cost-effective solutions while meeting international standards and tight project timelines.

What You'll Do

• Lead structural design for high-rise and large-scale projects from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure structural systems align with overall design intent.
• Conduct detailed site inspections to verify compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety codes.
• Provide technical leadership on temporary structures and construction methodologies.
• Resolve on-site technical challenges promptly, offering cost-effective solutions that keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare and manage project documentation including technical reports, structural drawings, design calculations, and client communications.
• Review subcontractor submissions for formwork, steel structures, shoring, and dewatering works.
• Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to optimize project performance and cost efficiency.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 7-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven expertise in reinforced concrete design and construction for high-rise and large-scale projects.
• Background in both consultancy and contractor environments preferred; strong contractor experience with design exposure accepted.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, and SAP2000.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Building Code, ACI, AISC, and ASCE standards.
• Skilled in preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and supervising structural draftsmen.
• Capable of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
