Job Summary:

Ssangyong is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman to join our team. The Structural Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed structural drawings and plans based on engineering designs and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of structural principles, drafting software, and construction materials. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed structural drawings, including foundation plans, framing plans, connection details, and reinforcement drawings, using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant drafting software. Interpret and translate engineering designs and specifications into accurate technical drawings. Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and coordination. Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards and building codes. Prepare and maintain drawing files and documentation. Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and quantity estimations. Identify and resolve design discrepancies and conflicts. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, drafting techniques, and software advancements. Assist with site visits and surveys as required. Maintain organized project files and documentation. Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or technical certification in drafting, civil engineering technology, or a related field. 10 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant drafting software. Strong understanding of structural principles, building codes, and construction materials. Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of building codes and regulations. Experience in High-rise building is a plus.
